Hello
When updating Nagios xi on CentOS 8 Stream, a EoL message shows.
That being said:
https://nagiosenterprises.my.site.com/s ... d-versions
RHEL 8 is supported still; CentOS 8 is completely unsupported then? We were able to update our Nagios xi to Nagios xi 2024R1.1.5 but I see there is a note in the changelogs for 2024R1.2 - 08/13/2024 - "Deprecated Debian 10, CentOS Stream 8, and EL7 [GL:xi!980] – GW"
I know CentOS 8 Stream is EoL but is this the reason for Nagios xi being upsupported?
Thanks

Re: Update Nagios xi on CentOS 8 Stream?
Hi @riahc3,
There are a couple of meanings to the word "support". In this one sense, Nagios xi does not now support installation or upgrade on CentOS Stream 8, which on a very practical level means we removed the code in the install and upgrade scripts that allows installation on that operating system. Because CentOS Stream 8 is EoL, from a development perspective we can't reliably test installation, upgrades, or feature functionality.
