It looks like a Nagios xi user that's authenticated out of Active Directory cannot be used for authentication from Fusion and have proper display of host and service status. Here's the steps:

1. Go to Nagios xi.
2. Create a Nagios xi user that authenticates out of Active Directory.
3. Go to Fusion.
4. Link a server using the username and password from step 2.
5. Sit back and watch it authenticate properly, but be unable to show current status in dashboard.

Everything works fine if the xi user authenticates locally. We have a customer that's not happy about this, as their security protocols require exception lists for local accounts and it seems liek this should be considered incorrect behavior, anyway.

I don't believe this is the correct behavior, and with that said I did file a bug report to make sure this is addressed in the reworking. The ID on it is #8006.
