- Go to Nagios xi.
- Create a Nagios xi user that authenticates out of Active Directory.
- Go to Fusion.
- Link a server using the username and password from step 2.
- Sit back and watch it authenticate properly, but be unable to show current status in dashboard.

Active Directory Nagios xi users dont' authenticate
It looks like a Nagios xi user that's authenticated out of Active Directory cannot be used for authentication from Fusion and have proper display of host and service status. Here's the steps:

You're right with this, and hopefully Jake's response in the other thread provides some clarification for you. (https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 20#p175519)
I don't believe this is the correct behavior, and with that said I did file a bug report to make sure this is addressed in the reworking. The ID on it is #8006.

Thanks. You can close this. I just needed it "out there" on the interwebs.

No problem - closing it out. I'm looking forward to seeing the new functionality of Fusion as well!
