I Just downloaded a trial vm of Nagios xi and vmware server 2. I have installed vmware server and imported the nagios vm in. I am able to start the vm, VMware tools are installed, but I am unable to access the Nagios Web interface. I get a HGFS cannot load filesystem protocol error. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Take a look at http://communities.vmware.com/thread/15 ... FCF65AE204
It seems you included a piece of the VMware Tools package that is not needed or functional with VMware Server, so will need to disable that.
