Hi Team,

From Nagios xi , How to monitor the CITRIX PVS Image servers ?

Can we buddle the agent with citrix PVS Image itself or any other way need to monitor citrix host level parameters ?

What type of operating system are these servers running? I do believe installing an Agent like NCPA would be a good option for you.

A couple more questions to help narrow this down.

1. What host-level metrics would you like to run checks against?

2. As far application monitoring goes, is there any API available ( or SNMP)?

Hi Raghavendra,

In that case, I would recommend using the NCPA Agent to set up checks for CPU, memory..etc. There is a built-in configuration wizard in xi for NCPA that makes this quick to setup.

Thanks for update, can NCPA agent bundle with PVS image, because all citrix session host will image replica so we can't install the agent by manually or mass deployment and if agent installed manually/mass deployment, it will overwrite by image.

Please let me know if possible to bundle ncpa agent with Citrix PVS Image and any guidelines or document for this type platform.

Hi Raghavendra,

We do not have any official documentation on this type of deployment. That said, NCPA does not install any different from other applications so I would think this work, however, this is not something we have tested internally here.

Is there any requirements for what can and cannot be deployed using this software?
