display graphexplorer graphes without login

Post by sigmainformatique »

Hi,

I am trying to make direct links to graphexplorer without auth (required for displaying in 3rd tools).
I have followed this documentation : https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=91

Problem : the backend API is deprecated, so I am not able to get the ticket required.

Tried to replace ticket with apiKey in url, but it does not work. Etheir with "ticket" or "apiKey" keyword.
Any Idea?

Example of URL tried :
http://xxxxxx.host/nagiosxi/includes/co ... XXXXXXXXXX

Regards
Guillaume

Hello, @sigmainformatique. Please go to the Admin menu, then System Settings in the left column, open the Backward Compatibility tab and check the box that says: "Allow Insecure Logins". Click on Update Settings. After that click on the username in top right corner next to the logout button. You'll see the insecure login in the "Insecure Login Settings" section.
Also, don't forget to check the box that says "Allow using the insecure login ticket to authenticate this user".

@sigmainformatique, You're welcome! No, there is no way around that. For what you're trying to do insecure login is the only option, API won't work. I spoke to the dev team and they may consider adding a feature to bypass the authentication for certain pages in XI 6.0. Keep an eye on the XI roadmap for the updates.
