Getting error while installing Nagios xi
I am getting an error while running Nagios xi installer... attached image for reference.. not able to find the install.log
tried to correct the sudo entries and re-ran installer with --force but still same..
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hi,
If you're able to still retrieve the whole install.log the would be very helpful.
A few things to check.
1. What operating system are you installing Nagios xi on and is it a newly installed, minimal distribution?
2. Make sure you're installing as root
3. Is SELinux enabled?

Can u let me know the path for install.log?
1. Its running on this:
Linux 3.10.0-1160.2.2.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Sat Oct 17 05:06:47 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Yes its fresh installation and just for 40 devices.
2. Yes installing with sudo rights which gets root previlige
3. output for getenforce is showing disabled.. may i know for what is this needed?

Hi,
What distribution is it ( Cent / RHEL / Ubuntu )? The install log should be in the tmp directory.
If you can't find it, try searching for it with the following command.

The sudoers files looks to be ok. Let's check the nagios user account on this system. Please post the output to the following command.
Now that it's up and running, can you send me the system profile as well (instructions below). Thanks, Benjamin
To send us your system profile.
Login to the Nagios xi GUI using a web browser.
Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
Save the profile.zip file and share in a private message or upload it to the post/ticket, and then reply to this post to bring it up in the queue.

I am getting more sever errors for Database now... i have submitted a ticket with support for this..
you can lock the thread in that case...
