I am trying to get Management to purchase Nagios xi and I have 16 days left with the demo
We have Remedy and Alarmpoint for our help desk and they want to see if Nagios xi can interface with these some how
This is for certain critical errors like server down , network down, disk space full, etc
Your answer is most likely no but I have to ask anyway
Nagios xi interface with Remedy or Alarmpoint

Re: Nagios xi interface with Remedy or Alarmpoint
If I remember correctly we're working on a feature that will allow you to add links into the host/service detail pages that would allow you to link directly to action URLS or ticketing systems, etc. At the moment this isn't there yet, but is that somewhat in the direction of what you're looking for?
Also, you can define you own event handlers in Nagios, so you could create an event handler script that sent the event information to your software. That depends on your comfort level with shell scripting though.
