Hello,
We are looking to give clients access to our Nagios XI system to views some services and graphs on certain hosts.
I can add a contact group to a Host and those contacts can then see only that host, that part is good.
But each host has ~30 services and the contacts automatically can see all 30 services. we want the contacts to only see about 5 of the services.
If I remove the contact group form the host, add the contact group to the service, then they can see only that service but not the stats on the Host check.

How do we go about limiting the contacts to certain hosts and of those hosts only a certain number of services.

If you assign a contact/contactgroup at the host level they will automatically be able to see all of the services, there isn't currently a way to disable that. You would need to assign just the services if you only want them to see a subset of the services.
