Hi I am trying to download the VMware file on this page http://library.nagios.com/library/produ ... loads/main in order to review the product.
I have downloaded this file 3 times on 3 different networks with firefox, IE and a download manager. I have tried to unzip it using 7ZIp-Jzip and WINrar.
The same result follows. The file extract process errors out on nagiossxi.vmdk
I have emailed sales who suggtested I use 7zip (which I did) then suggested I post this issue in the forum.

Re: Nagios xi VM Download Issue
Hmm, we saw this issue a while back, but it was mainly with the windows extractor having an issue with the large filesize. Are you attempting to extract the MS Virtual Server WM, or the VMWare zip? We tried the VMware file earlier today, and all seemed well, but we'll try it once more just to be sure. We're using 7zip here, but obviously we'd like for it to work regardless of the extractor being used ; )

Yeah, just tested the VMWare zip again, and it unzipped ok. Let us know if you're still having this issue and we'll see what we can do.
I hate to ask this, but we have to rule it out, how much hard drive space is left on the system you're extracting on?

Re: Nagios xi VM Download Issue
Using 7zip I get an data error when it tries to unzip the nagiosxi.vmdk.
"error file is broken"
7Zip will unpack it but the VM is damaged and doesnt load with VMplayer correctly.
"has internal consistency errors that might be caused by partial corruption"

chromis,
Try downloading the older (r1.7) version, just to see if you can extract it properly, or it will give you errors as well:

Good deal, from here I might recommend running the upgrade procedure so that you have the latest version.
