When I click on "Check Load" or "Memory Swap" and choose "Performance graphs" tab, I could see only
past 24hours statistics graphs on my remote monitoring Linux hosts via check_by_ssh.
Does Nagios XI store history where I could see performance graphs for the past week or month for your monitoring hosts?
Thanks.

Re: How to view performance statistics for more than 24h
You can try the graph explorer component which is included in the Nagios XI system.
You can find this in the home screen > graph explorer and then the time-stacked performance graph or the scalable performance graph.
I've used this a lot for the load of my Nagios host and gives you the option for a graph of 3 days, 3 weeks or even 3 months. You can even zoom in these graphs.
I found out that sometimes not all the services are shown per host, but it wasn't a ussue for me.

Also, if you go to any host or service detail page, and click the performance graphs tab, you can click on the graph and it will take you to the performance graph screen for that host/service and you can choose custom time frames from there.

I use Nagios XI and when I click on "Home" tag, the only thing I can see under "Performance graphs" pull down is "Host graphs" link,TenTimes wrote:You can try the graph explorer component which is included in the Nagios XI system.

which shows me only the Ping times for my remote and local hosts (4h, 24h, week or month view).
I don't see here any of my wizard setup performance graphs like "Check Load" "Memory Swap, etc. for my remote host.
Is that the graph explorer you are referring to or is there another one that I'm missing?
Thanks.

From Check Host Detail page, it does not show you all the checks performed. For instance it totally skips "Check Load" and some other checks.
When I click on "Check Load" itself --> "Performance graphs" it shows me the graphs only for the past 24h and it does not have an option to choose custom time frames from there. For instance to see past week or month.
Please advice!
Thanks.

If there are more that 5 graphs for a Host you need to click "More Performance graphs"lgitten wrote: From Check Host Detail page, it does not show you all the checks performed. For instance it totally skips "Check Load" and some other checks.
If you click on the graph that has the 24 hour view, it will give you more choices.lgitten wrote: When I click on "Check Load" itself --> "Performance graphs" it shows me the graphs only for the past 24h and it does not have an option to choose custom time frames from there. Great! It does show it. Thanks.
I was able to add the necessary graphs to the "Dashboards."
What is the purpose of "Views" tag and how is it different from the "Dashboards"?
How do I add my graphs to the "Views" (what title and URL do I specify and where do I find them)?
Thanks.

The views screen will rotate between all of the views you setup. Whereas the dashboards are just static pages (don't rotate) you setup.
The titles are your choice, and the URL's can be anything, and don't need to be on the XI server, but if you are looking for pages on the XI server you can generally right click on the link and choose open in new tab, then copy the URL that it opens.
Some browsers let you right click the link and choose "copy link location" also.
