Hi,
I am new to Nagios. I am exploring options for our environment and creating custom plugins is something we will definitely want to do.
I managed to create a simple plugin on a test client system and execute it via check_ncpa.py to validate it works.
However, with many hundreds of client systems and potentially many custom plugins, I am hoping there is an easy way to maintain plugins on my xi server and distribute them as needed to the client systems.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Kevin
Can plugins be distributed from xi server to clients?

xi does have the NRDS config manager found under Admin > Monitoring Config > NRDS Config Manager, but NCPA clients do not support this at the moment. We're aiming for NRDS support in the 3.x release of NCPA. Until then pushing out configuration and plugins to clients will need to be done through a means outside of xi.
