we have set up a new Negios xi server running 5.7.4 on Debian 10 (buster) using mariadb. We installed from source on a fresh Linux installation.
The config files have been imported manually.
At first everything worked like a charm, but after some hours we are now encountering randomly but frequently segmentation faults on Apache.
Is xi stable enough that you can download and send a system profile? Can you please get and upload a system profile zip by going to Admin => System Profile (in the left menu), then clicking the blue button, then uploading it here?

Hmm... I went through the same steps you mentioned, installing Debian 10 fresh, then installing xi-latest, and Apache isn't giving me any segfaults. Something else might be going on.
Did you install any custom packages?
Did you add any PHP extensions?
Did you modify the Apache configuration beyond what was done during the Nagios xi installation?
Is there a certain action done that always causes a crash (e.g. loading the dashboard always crashes), or is it otherwise predictable?

No, I did not install any custom packages nor I did install any PHP extensions. Also I did not touch the Apache config.
Perhaps one thing to mention: the installation is running on VMWare. We are using VMWare since perhaps 15 years now, but we did not encounter any segfaults with Apache yet... very strange!
The behaviour is also not predictable: sometimes Apache is running for some hours, sometimes I have to restart Apache too times in a minute. Apache might crash on any action: during logon to the web GUI, during creating reports, during clicking on anything in the dashborad... it's just randomly.
I noticed you're using the 32-bit install of Debian and Nagios xi. Is there something preventing you from using the amd64 version?
32-bit Debian 10 is not officially supported. See this document for the list of officially supported hardware configurations and distros.
