Hello,
I'm using the Nagios Log Server wizard in my Nagios xi installation. It's great at alerting us when a specific condition is met, however the problem is that it doesn't send us the log entries.
For example, I have a saved query that pings us if the number of events found in the query is > X. The problem is, the alert that we receive (in an email to Slack) does not contain the log results in question). We receive multiple alerts in a row sometimes, each one is different - but they say exactly the same thing, and we need to manually log into NLS to find out what the problem is.
Is there a way to include the search results in the alert?
Thanks

Unfortunately not with the wizard in xi. If order to include log results you would need to configure email alerts containing the %lastalertlog% or %last10alertlogs% on the NLS machine itself.

Thank you. Is it possible to submit a feature request for this?

I will file one. Please keep in mind that the decision to implement the enhancement is at the discretion of our development team. The changelog will reflect if the feature is added: https://www.nagios.com/downloads/nagios ... hange-log/
