Did you move from Nagios Core to Nagios xi? Or maybe you went directly with Nagios xi? Why did you move?
If you remain on Nagios Core, what keeps you there?
Another question, if you've bailed on Nagios entirely, in favor of another monitoring solution (New Relic, something else?) what drove that decision for you?
Did you move from Nagios Core to Nagios xi?

Re: Did you move from Nagios Core to Nagios xi?
I started out with NetSaint, then Nagios (pre xi days). Eventually I moved to xi, simply because hand editing files can introduce errors easily, especially with teams that don't have Linux experience, but need to help with monitoring.
Additionally, it helps support the effort. No product is perfect, but Nagios has been useful to me for decades.

Are you looking to make decision on moving from Core to xi and are looking for more information? If so feel free to ask and we can try to help find out if the solution is the right one for you. Like @Basher mentioned no software will ever be perfect so its a matter of finding if it fulfills your needs. He also made a good point on the usefulness of xi where it is much easier and more user friendly than core, especially for people new to the monitoring scene.
As a side note these are nagios forums so its not the best etiquette to mention competitors and moving to other products on these forums.
