I get similar errors as gm_rajkumar:

Now we are getting none?

Lets run

Code: Select all

service npcd restart
Then

Code: Select all

ls /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/|wc -l
ls /usr/local/nagios/share/xidpe/|wc -l

Hi Scott,

I installed this: "yum install rrdtool rrdtool-devel rrdutils perl-rrdtool -y" and from then I don't get graphs in Nagios

I installed this to get Netflow data in our NagiosXI Server

I get this:

service npcd restart
NPCD Stopped.
NPCD started.
Tiene correo en /var/spool/mail/root
[root@SRVBOXASDC1009 bin]# ls /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/|wc -l
872
[root@SRVBOXASDC1009 bin]# ls /usr/local/nagios/share/xidpe/|wc -l
ls: no se puede acceder a /usr/local/nagios/share/xidpe/: No existe el fichero o el directorio
0

I tried it manually and checks seem to work fine, but no graphs:

./check_rrdtraf -f /var/lib/mrtg/172.18.9.1_4.rrd -w 750 -c 900 -l M
OK - Current BW in: 0Mbps Out: 0Mbps|in=.000064Mb/s;750;900 out=.000032Mb/s;750;900

What can I do to fix this problem? I'm worried about this, I get no data in graphs and is a big problem for us

Thank you in advance!!

From what I'm reading it look like this issue can occur from using an SNMP short-name instead of the full OID for a port. Most of what I'm reading points to the same issue:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions ... em-507850/
https://lists.oetiker.ch/pipermail/mrtg ... 31693.html

We're still currently investigating the cause of this issue as well as the best solution...

Hi mguthrie,

Thank you for your answer.

I'll investigate in this way the problem with the Bandwidth

What can I do regarding the new problem I have since yesterday? I'm not receiving graphs in any host or service (ping, host performance...) This is a new and critical issue, but I dediced not opening a new toppic just because the problem is with graphs too.

Thank you!

Can you, please, start a new thread? Describe in details when did you notice that you were not getting any graphs, and what have you tried so far to troubleshoot/fix the issue. You can upload screenshots. Also, run the following commands and show us the output:

Code: Select all

service npcd status
tail /usr/local/nagios/var/npcd.log
tail /usr/local/nagios/var/perfdata.log
ll /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata
top
