I noticed with XI2009 and XI2011 that if I have a device in Nagios, then I delete it, and recreate it, the performance graphs are duplicated. The graph (or placeholder thereof) for the previous instance of the same device name in Nagios shows up along side the new one. The old one is not being updated, but it shows up in the web interface when I view performance graphs. Although one might think that deleting a device and adding it again would be a common occurrence, I have to do it from time to time.
I also noticed that the "Network Switch / Router" wizard will show "Bandwidth Monitoring Defaults" in the first screen as percentages that letter are converted to megabit/sec literal conversions instead of percentages.
BTW - xi2011 is nice, love the hypermap and hypermap replay.

You are correct in that when you delete a host or service, the performance data for it is retained. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, I know some admins have changed the name of their hosts/services and wanted that old performance data retained, so it can be a win/lose situation depending on what you're looking for. These rrd files are located in the following directory.I noticed with XI2009 and XI2011 that if I have a device in Nagios, then I delete it, and recreate it, the performance graphs are duplicated. /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata
They can be deleted if you prefer to clean up your graph viewing. The rrdtool automatically generates the files when performance data is received.
Can you show me the performance data for this service? I know other users have reported this and found it rather frustrating, and I might do some poking around and see what I can find out about this.I also noticed that the "Network Switch / Router" wizard will show "Bandwidth Monitoring Defaults" in the first screen as percentages that letter are converted to megabit/sec literal conversions instead of percentages.
Glad you like it! We appreciate the feedback as it helps us to make our software better.BTW - xi2011 is nice, love the hypermap and hypermap replay.
