monitoring bandwidth on Motorola Canopy SM

Post by teledataict »

Hello All,
Has anyone used nagiosxi to monitor motorola canopy SM? I am trying to monitor the bandwidth usage of all my devices using the nagiosxi switch wizard. I can monitor graph the bandwidth for the cisco devices and PTP500 backhauls of the motorola Canopy devices but when I use the same wizard to monitor the SM lite and SM normal, the wizard is not able to scan the canopy device and determine the interfaces. When I try configuring manually, I get error that the mrtg file does exist. Can anybody help me out.

Does the canopy need to be configured to allow the XI server to access its SNMP stack? Some devices have to be configured to allow the IP address of the XI server to access SNMP information before they can be scanned.
