Hi i have installed php-pear-HTML-Template-IT.noarch and its start working thanks alot
we are configuring nagios for some windows client and some dot net client.My firewall port has been desible for all the client
So is there any way to check my clients performance without opening any port.

And also I saw some Plugins in nagios xi document like

NSClient
NRPE...so can you plz .do let me know which one i need to get install in my client systems

One more thing i not getting any mails or notification from nagios ..my send mail is also running fine
Please tel me what should i need to configure to get naotification from nagios.


[root@localhost ~]# service sendmail status
sendmail (pid 14614) is running...
sm-client (pid 14622) is running...

I have made all the changes and still not able to send test alert.
While sending getting following error.

Hi ,

Now I am able to send test mail from nagios xi while putting in from mail id as user@localhost.localdomain ..and nagios said mail has been sent
but i am not able to recive any mail.
While checking log found following...

To double check sending, create a simple text file ("test.txt"), let's say in your "/tmp" folder. Then run in terminal:

# /usr/lib/sendmail -v xyz@abc.com < /tmp/test.txt

I have some other question like..

1) My hosts are showing down(Red) but all the status is ok only.... hosts are web urls.
2) If i am deleteing any host the host has been deleted from my nagios core but not in nagios xi
eventhough i have done all the step like ....removed services,removed from host group and from service group..and also clicked on apply configuration...

Notifications issue:

Just to clarify... You were able to send a test message from the command line and I assume you received it successfully. Can you send a test message, when you go to: Configure->More Options->My Account Settings->Notification Options->Send Test Notifications? Can you receive the message that has been sent? If not, what happens when you change the e-mail address by clicking on "Change your email address" under the "Send Test Notifications"?
