Nagios XI interface graphing issue
Whenever I add a router or switch to be monitored, I tell Nagios to use snmp version 2. I then have to go into the mrtg.cfg file and remove the "c" from the polling statement <host>::::2c or the polling fails. Is this normal? Is there a way to prevent nagios from constructing the mrtg.cfg file with the 2c on that line? Thanks.

Re: Nagios XI interface graphing issue
I just updated the wizard and added a plain old "2" version. Not sure if this will work or not, but give it a try and let us know the results. You can get the new wizard from:

Re: Nagios XI interface graphing issue
That appears to have fixed that. Another thing though. Whenever I run the wizard to add a switch, I want to graph the uplink connection of that switch only. After I add the switch, Nagiosxi presents we with a page to check/uncheck which interfaces I want to graph/monitor. I clear all check marks except the specific port I want to graph, but in the mrtg.cfg file, it still adds all of the ports. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Re: Nagios XI interface graphing issue
If possible, could you send a snippet from mrtg.cfg (editing any private info) directly relating to that configuration?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can close this, I have decided to use Nagios Core and Cacti for graphing.
