New xi Update Coming Next Week (Nov. 16th)

We'll be releasing a new snapshot of the latest xi code next week (Monday). There will be two methods of getting the update:

1. An updated vm will be released for people that haven't downloaded the current vm or are just joining the testing program
2. A patch will be released for existing testers to apply to their running vm

The update is planned to include:

1. A switch/router configuration wizard with auto-scans of the interfaces using MRTG and bandwidth/port status monitoring
2. A synthetic web transaction wizard that can be used for testing web apps
3. A new PHP replacement for the host/service detail page (extinfo CGI)
