Nagios xi SNMPWALK Problem

Post by JAKECOOPER »

Pretty new to Nagios xi and SNMP In general!

Attempting to use the Nagios xi Wizard to onboard a a few dell switches. Utilising SNMP V3 Auth no Priv i get a message telling me to try as root. Doing that, i get the attached error. Can't work this one out!

Also attached the Dell Switch SNMP config for comparison.

Any help appreciated!

Hey @JAKECOOPER:

I am not familiar with cfgmaker, but I didn't see a parameter specified for security level, e.g. -l authNoPriv, which I think is necessary for snmpwalk if you are using v3.

Let me know if this helps.
