graph Help

Post by cityofrefuge »

Hey guys,

I was wondering if I could get some graphing help with Nagiosxi.

You know when you click performance graphs it brings up every host graph. Well I want that but for a specific service.

For example, I want to see a graph of cpu usage on every host on one page so I can use it as a report. I know I can do this with the metrics section however I am having issues with cpu usage and memory usage when it comes to the metric page - I sent in a topic about that which can be found here - http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtop ... f=6&t=7699

If you have an idea about the metrics thing or an alternative way to do what I want to do please do not hesitate to respond, any help would be useful!

Thanks

Apart from the metrics component there isn't a very streamlined way to do this. We do have it on our development radar to be able to search by service group, as well as view graphs by hostgroup or servicegroup, but we don't currently have an ETA on those features.

Oh okay, well it's great that its on the radar and I await for that implementation. I will go back over to my metrics post so we can work on that. This can be closed I suppose.

Thanks!
