SQL Error nagios xi near 'WHERE user_id=1 at line 3

Post by umitsupport »

Tried to upgrade the nagiosxi from 5.5.8 (CenOS 6.10) to 5.7.3 after that shows the following error:
SQL Error [nagiosxi] : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE user_id = 1' at line 3

And the version is still the same 5.5.8

Hi,

We suggest that you make a smaller "jump" between versions.

1. rm -rf /tmp/nagiosxi
2. cd /tmp
3. wget https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... 6.7.tar.gz
4. tar xzf xi-latest.tar.gz
5. cd nagiosxi
6. ./fullinstall

If that is successful, run through that sequence again, but change step 3 to:
wget https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... 7.3.tar.gz

If either of the installs fails please send me the error message along with /tmp/nagiosxi/install.log,
and tell me if you were upgrading from 5.5.8 --> 5.6.7 or if it was while upgrading from 5.6.7 --> 5.7.3

Thank you

Hi

Yes, fortunately we have that.

I uploaded it to a file sharing site (pCloud).

What is your email address so I can invite you to the share?

Thanks
