Hello
myself and another team are tring to test
Nagios 5.8.1 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS we are having issues integrating the traps into xi
as per the documentation .

both teams have the same issue after following the instructions

we are not seeing the expected logs in /usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log file:
attached file showing extract of nagios log file and snmptt log note the [1611713602] External command returned error Malformed command. ????

i have updated the snmptt.conf file as per instructions

i can see traps in the RECEIVED TRAPS tab of SNMP trap interface of xi
but nothing is actioned with in the xi

i have also noticed that EXEC php line within the traps is also missing.

Please PM me a copy of your profile, you can download it from Admin > System Profile by clicking the Download Profile button.

Additionally, run this command as root and send me the resulting /tmp/SNMPFILES.zip file:
Do you have log_external_commands=1 set in your /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg? If not, set it, and restart the nagios service and tail the nagios.log again while submitting results.
