How many servers do you have fused on the server?

The strage thing is that my backed version is 1.0.3 (in local xi) and I don't use that old version which appear in the log.
Why Fusion is polling with this version of the API?
Also you can see the the version is 5.5.8
I ran those urls and got <errormessage>Authentication Failure</errormessage>
That's why I Believe the reason for not seeing alerts in Fusion.

Go to the System Settings > Data & Polling tab, and set the Simultaneous Pollers: to 28
Set the Live Data Timeout: to 90 seconds.

Update the settings.


Was the Fusion server upgrades from an older 2014r1.x server?

That could be where the wrong call could of coming from.

I would delete that server from Fusion and re-add it back in to the system.
See if that recreates the polls using the correct API and then it starts to gather the service data.

No it's a new one
I would delete that server from Fusion and re-add it back in to the system.
Did it a few times alerady still show the old API.

When the Fusion server first connects to the xi server, it gets the xi version to determine how to poll it.
If the xi version is greater than 5.5.0 it uses the API, else it uses the backend url.
To get that version, it uses the Program URL of the xi server that is entered in the Fusion Server settings.
Check the URL to see if they match between servers.

Another thing, do upgrade to Fusion 4.1.7. The last release has some changes in how the Fusion server authenticates with the xi server that may fix the issue.

I have update the API backed again in local xi and now I can see in the fusion logs that it’s polling with the new API.

As you can see I get timeout on service status API (in the first lines).
I have increase the timeout from 90 to 180 still the same..
When I ran the API (as written in fusion.debug) in fusion CLI I get the currect respond with all the info.
Upgrade to 4.1.7 I don't think this will help.

Edit that server's setting and set the Authentication and the Polling Interval to 600 seconds.
Then in the Admin > System Settings > Data &Polling TAB, set the Polling Subsystem Memory Limit: to 1024M and update the settings.

The following command is the API call that the fusion server is running against the Nagios xi server. I added time to the command so we can see how long it takes to run.

Try running it and replace the IP address and the <FUSEKEY> to actual values. Let us know how it works out.

I updated the changes as you asked and so far I don't see the services alerts.

The time output shows that it took 5 minutes and 35 seconds to download the service entries.
The polling interval for that server needs to increased to a much higher value.
Try starting out at 900 seconds for that server and increase it further if needed.
