Are you sure that you are using SNMP V2 and not V1? I would run a check on this as it will cause issues.

Permission of cfgmaker looks good to me below is the output,

Code: Select all

[root@localhost autodiscovery]# ll /usr/bin/cfgmaker
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 107065 Nov 12 2010 /usr/bin/cfgmaker
Today i also tried Autodiscovery wizards even after been the setup.sh permission been correct

Code: Select all

[root@localhost autodiscovery]# ll
total 64
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 apache nagios 11972 Jan 23 20:33 autodiscovery.inc.php
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 apache nagios 622 Jan 23 20:33 CHANGES.TXT
drwxr-xr-x. 2 apache nagios 4096 Jan 23 20:13 images
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 apache nagios 27369 Jan 23 20:33 index.php
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 apache nagios 521 Jan 23 20:33 install.sh
drwxrwsr-x. 2 apache nagios 4096 Jan 23 20:13 jobs
drwxr-xr-x. 2 apache nagios 4096 Jan 23 20:13 scripts
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jan 25 16:02 setup.done
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 apache nagios 353 Jan 23 20:33 setup.sh
Autodiscovery was not able to run setup.sh & gave error to chk permission, it so i had to manually run the script after that autodiscovery runned fine.

but still am not able to make switch/router wizards to detect port of Router, while on command line itś working fine.

Can we run the following to make sure we don't have an old scan that is sticking around

Code: Select all

rm /usr/local/nagiosxi/tmp/mrtgscan* -f
