Upgrade Nagios xi VM from 5.2.7

Upgrade Nagios xi VM from 5.2.7
We are running the Nagios image for 5.2.7. Are there instructions for upgrading it to 5.8 available somewhere? We are in a very restricted network with limited Internet connectivity so this may have to be done manually. Thanks.

What OS is your Nagios xi running on right now?
I would suggest that you do the upgrade on a new VM. Test out the process first just incase things go wrong with the upgrade.
Here's my suggestion:
I would create a new "clean" CentOS/RHEL 7 VM
Install Nagios xi 5.2.7 on the new CentOS/RHEL 7 using offline install
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... onment.pdf
https://repo.nagios.com/?repo=offline
Restore from 5.2.7 backup onto the new CentOS/RHEL 7
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-xi.pdf
Upgrade to 5.8.1 on new CentOS/RHEL 7
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ctions.pdf
