Hello Support,

We have a client requirement in reports being generated by Nagiosxi for bandwidth utilization (In and Out) for all the network devices. Is there a way to generate these kind of reports in xi reporting section. The existing reporting comes with xi does have bandwidth reporting but it shows the report for only single port. We would need to have xi to generate a bandwidth report for all the monitored ports on all the devices to be shown in a single report similar to the availability report in xi.

Currently that functionality doesn't exist, it only allows a single port. I can submit a feature request on your behalf if you'd like?

The only other thing you could do would be to put all the bandwidth services in a servicegroup and then apply configuration, then go to Home > Servicegroup summary and click on the count of the services to show the status of all services, then you can click the very top right menu with the three horizontal lines in it and choose the first option to schedule the page as a report, you'll need the enterprise license to do that though. That's the only other way I can think of.

I need to report on the Bandwidth Usage at interface level, device level to find the top talkers on the network.

Hence if there is any report that can provide the total amount of Upload and Download per interface and Device for specific host groups, it will be very helpful. It is a mandatory requirement.

I am using the xi Enterprise Edition.

As @ssax already stated, currently that functionality doesn't exist in Nagios xi. I can submit a feature request on your behalf if you'd like. Please keep in mind that the decision to implement the enhancement is at the discretion of our development team.

Yes, Please do submit a feature request. I understand it is up to the development team to make it available.
But I have come across many such requests from clients. Bandwidth utilization, Latency, Jitter, Packet loss reports with average and Max values for the day, week or month. For lack of detailed reports, I may have to look at other options.
