Re: Nagios xi on Centos 6 to be inlined updgrade to Centos 7
Hi Biswajit,
We recommend setting up a new, clean system to migrate between CentOS 6 to 7. There isn't an officially supported in-place upgrade from CentOS and if the server has been heavily customized, that can be an issue. It would best to put in place a mitigation plan to address any possible disruption.
There are few tutorials out there, make sure you take full backups of the server and Nagios xi before proceeding. Please note that you'll also take down the monitoring system for some time while it downloads and compiles the new packages.
