Damaged Install no graphs

Post by dxf1 »

Hi ,
I belive that I know why the graphing has stopped I installed an addon called check_mk which appears to create it's own rrd and updates (possibly overwriting the existing structures  .

How can I revert back to the Nagios created environment as the config is getting quite large now.

Regards
Dave

With the config export/import feature.

If you have other local changes, like installed modules, you should make sure these are managed by either a Revision Control System(RCS or CVS are fine choices, but SVN and GIT should also usable) or something that would automatically apply your changes like Puppet.

You can use the Trial Edition Virtual Image to test environments prior to deploying them. There is an updated VM for G, I believe.

This is the aftermath of:

I wouldn't attempt to do so. Start out fresh.

You can shrink your existing install and then dual-boot two instances of Linux as a migration process.
