Nagios xi at Lab environment

Hi,
I would like to activate another instance of Nagios at my lab environment for various plugin tests (original one is installed on Production)

Can I go ahead and activate it at a second place?

Yes you can. You are allowed three activations, one for testing, one for production, and one for backup.
