According to 1 of my co-workers it should be possible to stack 2 services with the same name and still record both outputs. My question is if this is really possible and how its done. In our case we want to use it to have windows generic events combined with the dc event checks (for the dc alone of course) and so on.
I am not sure if i am explaining it properly but thats how they told me.

Re: Stacking services
If it's coming in as a passive check that shouldn't be a problem, I would think tracking the actual status and state history of it might be confusing though. If you have performance data though the data sets and units of measurement would need to be the same, otherwise you probably won't be able to use a graph for it.

Re: Stacking services
I heard today he was thinking a multicheck in multicheck instead of true stacking of services. Thanks for the response though.
