This is the overall flow of the problem:
1. from the terminal on the log server, i can run send_nrdp.sh with the proper arguments and on the xi server, i end up with an "unconfigured object" that i can configure.
2. I remove the unconfigured objects without configuring them.
3. When the alert kicks off the script, I expect the same behavior, to have "unconfigured objects" on the xi server to configure.
I do not have any indication in xi that it is receiving the message.. doesn't show in any alert dash or as an object to configure.
I tailed nagios.log on the xi server.
I used the Alert Execute script........ nothing shows in the nagios log.
I manaully run send_nrdp.sh from a terminal. I get the following in teh nagios log: Error: Got check result for service 'Syslog' on host 'Nagios'. Unable to find service
Do you guys do webex at all, this would be so much easier to show you.
Will send you the remainder of your request tomorrow.

The alerts are not sending all the data for some reason.
