After upgrading from 2009R1.3G to 2009R1.4 using instructions in XI_Upgrade_Instructions.pdf, all graphs are broken. The only thing I can see is that the graph image URLs have an extra slash after http://url/nagiosxi/, i.e. http://url/nagiosxi//pathTographImg. Additionally, when you go to the graph detail pages you get strange "Datasource: ds1", "Datasource: ds2" etc instead of the service names. Removing the extra slash in the URL does not help.

Upgrading again to 1.4B did not solve this issue.

Try resetting the security credentials for the backend components. Admin->Reset Security Credentials

That did it. You might want to add that as a step at the end of the Upgrade document.
