Afternoon,
I am trying to utilize this tool (http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Ad ... rd/details) to monitor our Live@EDU (Hosted Microsoft Exchange 2010) environment. However, Microsoft has disabled the ability to ping some of our servers. Does anyone know of a way to disable the 'ping' action but still monitor the other services?
Right now, it's showing my host as down but all my services are OK, because it can't ping, and I can't figure out in the Host or Service templates how to turn this off. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Yeah, I wrote a doc up on that that fits exactly into what you're asking. Check it out:

Thank you! That worked wonderfully. I changed the host template to the correct check and all is working well now.
