Re: [Nagios-devel] NDOUtils Missing fields in Database?

Post by Guest »

Hello All,

Is there a document that outlines what nagios expects from the retention =
file? I am trying to build a script that creates a retention file from =
the ndoutils database.

I have a prototype that looks okay, but nagios does not read it =
properly. When nagios tries to start with my home-grown retention file, =
nagios' bar graphs on the side show services with a nice healthy green, =
but the hosts show a sliver of a red bar.

Does nagios expect the options between the {}'s in a particular order?

Janet

Hi Janet,

just have a look to "PREFIX_configfilevariables order by varname" for
the instance id.

There are your missing fields (and the rest of nagios.cfg).
