graph missing

Post by kalyanpabolu »

Hello team,

We are not able to see any graph data from 20 July 2020. We noticed it today when client asked for some graph report and we found the last graph was generated in July. We are really not sure what exactly happened and graph data is not there. The grpah is missing for all servers and all sevrices.

Could you please help us to resolve the issue?

I restarted npcd service to make sure its running fine.

Is this a Nagios XI server and if so, what version of XI it is running?

The reason I am asking this is that it looks like the system was customized for the performance data processing services as the npcd path is not what is used in XI.
This is what it should look like for the path for the NPCD service on an XI system.

Code: Select all

nagios 923 1 0 08:32 ? 00:00:00 /usr/local/nagios/bin/npcd -d -f /usr/local/nagios/etc/pnp/npcd.cfg

The first place to look in in the log file.
Go and look at this file and see what sort of errors are in it and post it to the ticket.

Code: Select all

/var/log/pnp4nagios/perfdata.log

Can you open a root shell to the server and post the output here?

Code: Select all

df -h
df -i
chage -l nagios
ps -ef --cols=300
