Hello,

May i know what are the metrics that usually "default" monitors in Cisco routers and switches?

Whether the device is pingable, link status for each interface, and bandwidth of each interface.

I will also suggest CPU(check_snmp_load.pl), Memory(check_snmp_mem.pl), and Temperature (check_env_stats.py).
Configuration:
Nagios XI 2014R2.5
manually upgraded on 64bits CentOS 6
with nothing extra, no gnome, no proxy, no SSL
Add-ons: Hypermap, Minemap, Ping Action, Traceroute Action, Network Replay, graph Explorer, Latest Alert
